Thank you so much for taking the time to speak with me and for considering my sponsorship request. Recently, I was crowned Miss Black District of Columbia International Ambassador in the Miss Black International Ambassador Competition in the Bahamas. My mission is to redefine what it looks like to be a politician and to encourage women to be fearless by running for political office. This pageant opportunity would give me an incredible platform to continue serving our community & I’d like to share with you what I’ve done so far!
In 2018, I was elected the Ambassador of Running Start. In 2019, I became an Ambassador for She Should Run. Both are nonpartisan organizations that train and encourage women and girls to run for political office. In 2020, I founded It's Her Power, to encourage women to be leaders in their communities. I have trained women and girls to run for political office across the nation and recently trained international women in Iceland, too. As a Spelman & Women’s Campaign School at Yale University graduate, I recognize the value of women leading in our world. As an Obama White House & Capitol Hill Alum, I am here to redefine what it looks like to be a politician, not just for myself but for all women. Becoming Miss Black International Ambassador would galvanize that effort.
I am asking for your sponsorship support to play an integral role in helping me raise funds for my next International Competition this fall. My goal is to raise $10,000 and any amount of donation and/or gifting kind towards my goal will be greatly appreciated. All donations are tax deductible.
