Meet Cierra

Cierra Jackson works to amplify public affairs campaigns through social media, brand & multimedia communications. As a proud alumna of two women’s colleges, Spelman College and Yale University’s Women’s Campaign School, Ms. Jackson’s life mission is to encourage all people and especially women to take up the mantle of leadership in their roles as entrepreneurs, community activists and political front runners.

Cierra was a Capitol Hill and Obama White House Chief of Staff communications intern who played an integral role in monitoring media and press relations.

​As Miss District of Columbia in the Miss America Organization, Cierra dedicated over 600+ hours of community service to non-profits and DC public education initiatives.  With the help of Councilmember Robert White, she created the 1st ever Miss District of Columbia’s Day at DC Council.  As an Ambassador for Running Start and She Should Run, organizations that encourage international women to run for office, Cierra has been instrumental in developing the next generation of global leaders. 

Cierra created a community initiative, It’s Her Power, which aims to encourage women and girls to redefine leadership, especially as politicians, and men to use their power to advocate for the advancement of women and girls. Through It’s Her Power, Cierra leads unique programming like the It’s Her Power Conference & I am Royal Tea, an inclusive event honoring leadership, excellence, performing arts & the value of community.

Ms. Jackson also has served as a committee member for the Bob Wright Symposium on Business Empowerment, providing digital content creation, event support and brand communications since 2016.

I created Cierra Jackson Consulting to help give business professionals, politicians and public figures the tools they need to reach their business and life goals. Through my experiences in communications, public relations, pageantry, and politics, I have learned many lessons and gained a world of experiences that I want to share with you.
